Meet Angelo


Angelo D’Emilia is a lifelong resident and small-business owner in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. He graduated from Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School in 1984, and went on to become an apprentice bricklayer with Local 32. In 1987, Angelo founded Spartago Masonry, which specialized in commercial and residential masonry projects. Angelo built Spartago Masonry from the ground up into a successful, job-providing business based in Bridgewater.

In 1998, Angelo expanded his Spartago Masonry business and founded Spartago Enterprises, a general contracting corporation based in Bridgewater. Spartago Enterprises has served as the general contractor for large and small businesses around the region including Prisco’s Market, Ocean Spray Cranberries, Yankee Sprinkler and CVS. Angelo has also developed several residential and commercial properties on the South Shore. In Bridgewater, he redeveloped an old shoe factory and brought in several local businesses including Downtown Mini Storage in Bridgewater, which he owns and manages. In addition, Angelo is a member of the Bridgewater Business Association and the Bridgewater Veterans Club.

In 2010, Angelo D’Emilia was elected in to represent the people of the 8th Plymouth District on Beacon Hill in his first attempt for public office. Representative D’Emilia currently serves as a member of the Joint Committee on Ways and Means, the Joint Committee on Higher Education, the House Committee on Bills in the Third Reading, the House Committee on Ways and Means, and the House Committee on Personnel and Administration. He has a 100% voting history, and has received an 80% rating from the Associated Industries of Massachusetts. Angelo has also earned a 100% rating from the National Federation of Independent Business and an A+ rating from the Gun Owners Action League.

When not on Beacon Hill or running his business, Angelo enjoys playing golf and riding motorcycles.
